Our dedicated driving division is one the largest regional suppliers of professional drivers, providing a 24-hour service, 365 days a year. We have a pool of qualified and professional drivers to meet your changing business needs. We have vacancies and supply first class drivers in the following categories:
* Driving LGV1 (C+E)
* Driving LGV2 (C)
* Driving LGV 7.5t
* Driving 3.5t
* Specialist licences (ADR, HIAB)
Our drivers can operate Artics, rigids, non LGV's and vans, Curtain sided vehicles, flatbeds, HIAB Cranes, low loaders, food tankers, powder tankers, skeletal trailers and fridges.
We always have drivers with specialist skills!! Specialist such as home delivery, dangerous goods, temperature controlled, bulk and heavy/abnormal loads..
All Drivers need to present all original tachograph discs for the current week and the last disc of the previous week they worked on demand to any law enforcement or DTI authority.
All Waves Personnel drivers are required to carry/take with them, any discs that have been used on an assignment with a client for these time periods.
Our policy is to log and retain copies of all tachograph discs should future reference be required.
Waves Personnel will comply with the new working time directive effective 14th March 2005. All agency drivers will be fully briefed so as to ensure full compliance with the new laws and requirments
Timesheet Control
Our temporary drivers are paid against a weekly timesheet which is approved and signed by our clients as confirmation of the work undertaken. Staff will ask you to check the hours worked and sign as confirmation. The timesheet will show the start and finish time for each day’s work, followed by a ‘break deducted’ column (if applicable) and then total the hours worked for that day.
